About Us

The West Davidson Food Pantry (WDFP) offers food to meet basic nutritional needs for individuals and families in need. Clients are children, adults or senior citizens with limited or no income, who have simply fallen on hard times, recently unemployed and need assistance to make ends meet.

This ministry provides: nutritious food boxes monthly to households, provides weekend food backpacks weekly to children in three local elementary schools, and maintains an after hours emergency pantry.

In 2024 the WDFP, with the assistance of supporters, were able to provide monthly food boxes to over 5,079 households, filled 3,552 school backpacks, distributed 391 Christmas meals, and provided assistance to community angel trees for 5 local schools.

With the help of supporters, hope and assistance is provided to Davidson County residents living in zip codes 27295 and 27299. If you are in need of assistance, we are available Mondays 12pm-2pm and Tuesdays 3:30pm-5:30pm. Little Pantry 24/7. You will need to provide a photo identification, current piece of mail confirming home address, names, birthdates, and income of all household members

The WDFP is volunteer-based, depending on caring people who are willing to give their time, talents, and resources. By working together just see what we can do!
